The question: What is your style? make us think, wonder and even worry!!
There are different things you can do to identify your style......
1. Check your closet: look at the pieces that you wear the most. Is the color range more neutral or more colorful? Are the pieces girly or tomboyish? Do you wear more pastels or stronger tones? or do you have a little bit of everything?
Here is a guide with pictures that can help you identify your style:
Classic: neutrals, simple cuts, timeless accesories like leather handbags and shoes, simple clothing elements combined with more sophisticated ones makes a classic clothing style.
Sophisticated: neutral and rich jewel tones, leopard prints, pencil skirts, trousers, tight dresses and coats, high heels (strappy or pumps) and metal accesories.
Bohemian: earth tone colors and whites, long skirts, baggy clothes, wooden accesories and shoes, long necklaces, headbans and big bags or totes.
Hipster: skinny jeans, high wasted pants/shorts, glasses of different shades and colors, tops with ironic quotes or crazy prints, vintage shoes (granny boots and oxfords), beanies, bright accesories and casual hair.
Preppy: pastels, plaid and classic prints, knits and sweaters, polo shirts, A-line skirts, khaki pants, ballet flats, boat shoes, wedge in shoes.
Sporty: T-shirts, shorts, leggins, yoga pants, tennis or golf skirts and shirts, sweatshirts, varsity jackets, caps, sneakers or running shoes, rubber band watches and lightweight accesories.
Girly/Flirty: pastels (pinks) and floral prints, flowy skirts and sundresses, lace, pearls, bows, ruffles, feminine heels and cute accesories.
OK, so now yo have an idea of what your style might be :)
Keep experimenting, maybe one day you want to dress girly and on the weekends you want to look more sophisticated. However, there is always going to be a style that stands out the most to you and that you wear the most. That is important to know, since going shopping knowing what is your style and what you like is going to help you have a succesfull wardrobe where almost all the pieces get worn. Because the fact is that an average person only wears 20% of the clothes in her/his closet.
Hope this helps <3
xoxo
