Designers talk about the BASICS

So far this is one of my favorite posts, for this one I did some research and learned lots of new things. There are many designers to talk about so I will do a continuation in later posts. The most prestigious designers out there make luxurious and sometimes outrageous designs. Today you will learn the basic pieces that they have in their wardrobe and that of course they have featured in the runways. Lets Begin :)

Carolina Herrera & The White Button Up Shirt

This Venezuelan designer likes sophistication and simplicity. She says a button up shirt is a chameleon that you can dress down with jeans and dress up with a long beautiful skirt. Google (white button up shirt) and you will see almost every Hollywood star wearing this piece.

Roberto Cavalli & His Trademark The Leopard Print

In an interview with Harpers Bazaar Cavalli said "God created such a fantastic world. Leopard is an animal design, and my designs come from nature." He also said that he is disappointed that everyone is doing leopard now, but he doesn't mean you and me, he is talking about other big designers that copy him.

Donatella Versace & The Sexy Dress

In a recent interview by Lenny Kravitz for the magazine Interview; Donatella talked about her life and her collections which always seem to have very sexy, luxurious and glittery statement pieces. She stated  "I don’t think about making sexy clothes. It’s just my instinct to make them." "you always want to feel sexy. You want people to look at you and say, Wow.”

 Diane Von Furstenberg & The Iconic Wrap Dress 

If you go to this designer's website and click on must haves, you will find her statement wrap dress. It is so rewarding to know that you can find a cute or elegant wrap dress for less at your favorite store. This dress makes you look slimmer and chic without trying to hard.
